Free SSL certificate generation from cPanel

Plugin localization

Once logged in to the cPanel account we recommend changing to "Paper Lantern" theme because the plugin is not supported on the x3 theme.

You can then find the icon "Free SSL" in the "Security" section.

or searching at the top right corner for "Free SSL"

If the message below is displayed:

You have to set a contact email. To do this go to the "Contact Information" section as shown below:

Fill in the "This is an email address at which the system can contact you. This should be an email address that is not on your account." field with the desired email address.

The interface

The interface is divided into two sections.

The first section will list all the domain names that have generated a Free SSL certificate and the status information (if it is installed, expiration date a.s.o) and a button "Reinstall" if the certificate was mistakenly deleted from the SSL / TLS section.

The second section will list all the fields configured in cPanel account, associated root directory and a button to generate the certificate (Issue)

To generate a certificate, press the button "Issue", it may take between 10-30 seconds, please do not reload the page.
At the end of the process, the certificate will be installed and a success message will appear:

If you receive the error below:

You must ensure that your site has set our nameservers. You can check this here: http://www.intodns.com/domain.tld (where domain.tld is your domain name)

In case your domain has our nameservers set and the issue process is still not working, please contact our support team.

Certificate renewal

The certificate will automatically renew when it enters the last 30 days of valability.
